Setting Up An Account

With SpaBoom you will have the ability to instantly sell Gift Certificates from your website. As soon as you register for your account, SpaBoom will automatically create a web page for you that is designed to match your existing web site. This page can be customized further still to include photos, logos and you can even change the look and feel of the page. All of this allows the integration of your web site and the SpaBoom page to appear as one whole website.

The format is simple; you load all of your services and prices into the web page, choose as many Gift Certificate designs as you like for your clients to choose from and let SpaBoom do the rest. Changing the services and prices is easy to perform and you can add or remove treatments at any time.

How It Works

As soon as a Gift Certificate is purchased from your web site, SpaBoom will send all the details into your Millennium application automatically. Firstly Millennium will check your client records to see if they are already an existing client; if they are not, a record will be created. The transaction will then be set up with all the information and a Gift Certificate will be sold to that client.

The purchase of a Gift Certificate could not be any easier. The client simply needs to select an amount or a service, choose a design from the templates available, add a recipients name with an optional message and can then choose to either print the Gift Certificate themselves or receive it via email.

Every time a client purchases an Instant Gift Certificate, you�ll be notified by email. It�s fast and easy to log in to SpaBoom and pull up the credit card and buyer information. You then process it like you would a phone order.

Basic Requirements

You do not need to have Millennium Software to use SpaBoom, however, to fully take advantage of the benefits that Instant Gift Certificates can offer, you should use the following as a list of basic requirements.

A valid license of Millennium, version 2005 or greater.
One or more account(s) with SpaBoom.
IIS running on Windows Server 2003 Standard or better, Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista Business/Ultimate.
A permanent connection to the Internet at your spa or salon.
Finally, your network must be configured, so that SpaBoom can reach your Millennium machine from the Internet.
